The Women in Aviation Scholarship was created to assist deserving female students enrolled in aviation schools with their academic goals. Eligibility: The recipient must be a full-time student enrolled in an aviation program with a grade point average of 3.5 or better, be at least a junior in class, or be a graduate student.

Deadline: The WAI Scholarships for 2023 are now open! Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 12, 2022, and applicants must be active WAI members as of October 1, 2022.

Many scholarships are available to active personnel, transitioning military members, and persons of any gender; they are not just available to women or students. During their banquet during the 2023 Women in Aviation International (WAI) Annual Conference in Long Beach, California, scholarship winners will be revealed.
