Knowing the resumption date will not only help you achieve your academic goals but also provide guidance as you get ready to go back to school. This article aims to provide you with all the information you need to know about the 2023 resumption date.
When is the UNIUYO Resumption Date 2023
The University of Nigeria, Uyo’s (UNUYO) management has declared that the academic session will resume on October 24th, 2023. It is expected that all academic activities will resume immediately.
It is possible that the resumption date may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances such as the ASUU Strike or holidays. However, if UNUYO’s resumption date changes, we will be sure to let you know.
The resumption date of UNUYO is usually in line with the one set by the ASUU. UNUYO will announce the resumption dates of the 1st and 2nd semesters in the near future.

We will also update the University’s academic calendar so that you can keep track of the timetable of activities for each semester. Before UNUYO sets the resumption date of the academic session, they will meet with the relevant school authorities and Senate to determine the best date for both new and returning students.
