University Of Ibadan Admission List 2023: The University of Nigeria, Ibadan (UI) was established in 1948, making it the first university in Nigeria.
Prior to its formalization as an independent University in 1962, UI operated as a College of the University of London under a special relationship arrangement.
Initially, UI offered academic programs in the fields of arts, science, and medicine. Wole Soyinka, who won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1986, was also a graduate of the University of Ibadan. Soyinka went on to teach at the university. Another prominent contemporary Nigerian writer is Chinua (Chinu) Achebe. Kenule (Ken) Saro-Wiswa, an environmental and political leader, was executed by the Nigerian military in 1995 for protesting the exploitation of the oil-rich Niger Delta by foreign oil companies.

- You will be redirected to the University of Ibadan school portal at https://admissions.ui.edu.ng/#/
- Sign in to the portal with your Jamb registration number as username and your password is your surname at first login.
- Click Login to have access to the University of Ibadan portal.
How to Check the University of Ibadan Admission List Via Jamb Portal
Checking your portal is a two-step process. First, you’ll need to go to the portal Jamb, and then you’ll have to go to the University of Ibadan school portal.
In order to verify your admission status, please adhere to the procedures outlined steps:
- Take a Visit to Jamb Portal via jamb.org.ng/efacility.
- To view the list, log in with your Jamb username and password which you use when creating your Jamb account.
- Go to the bottom of the page and click Check Admission Status.
- Choose the Exam year and type in your registration number for the JAMB.
- Finally, to find out if you’ve been accepted, click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
- You’ll see Congratulations! or “Not Admitted” or “Admission in progress” and you are advised to check back later.
Is UI First Batch Admission List Out for 2023?
